  • Use a hardened steel or ruby nozzle — carbon fiber is abrasive
  • Dry 8 h at 80 °C and feed from a dry box during long prints

✗ Don't

  • Use brass nozzles or stock brass gears — they wear fast
  • Skip the enclosure for large structural parts

Yes — carbon fiber is abrasive. Use a hardened steel or ruby nozzle; never brass. We also recommend a hardened extruder gear for long life.
Nozzle 260–290 °C, bed 70–90 °C, enclosure recommended. Always dry at 80 °C for 8 h before printing.
